“It All started With a Kiss”

So our next blog is about a funny ending on Romeo and Juliet. I’m not really a fan of Comedy. In movies, yes, I do support romantic comedy movies but the only thing that interest me there is romance. So this is like an introduction about my essay. I will really try my best so um, this essay/ending of Romeo and Juliet would be a funny one. So I’ll start here.

Romeo, not knowing the plan of Juliet and Friar Lawrence went to Verona, before reaching the place he bought a bottle of poison from a man. When he reached the place where Juliet’s dead body is located, he, for the last time, showed his love for Juliet and drinks the posion. While Romeo was drinking the poison, Juliet woke up and saw what Romeo was doing. She shoved the bottle of poison to ground and it broke to pieces. As seconds pass by, Romeo became a frog. Juliet shrieked from terror as she sees the love of her life becoming a frog. Romeo didn’t know that the man’s poison and some unknown potion got mixed up and gave him the wrong one. Friar Lawrence came and helped Juliet and her frog, Romeo to escape and he brought them to the church. A day passed and the Capulets and Montagues already knew about Juliet’s lie. They went to Friar Lawrence and Friar Lawrence explained what had happened including the frog incident. All of them laughed from disbelief. But then, Juliet made a condition on both families. If she could make Romeo the frog human again, then the two families would have to reconcile and She and Romeo could live together. The two heads of the families, still laughing, agreed on Juliet’s wish.

Later that day infront of the two families, Juliet kissed the frog, Romeo and everyone shrieked from disgust. A princess kissing a frog? How despicable. But then everyone turned their eyes on the frog. The frog became human again! And it was really Romeo! From then on the two families can’t believe Juliet tricked them and they soon reconcile for a man can’t break their promise. The whole Verona rejoices as the couple becomes together.
